Follow Horton the Elephant on a colorful adventure filled with humor, heart, and unforgettable music.  Nestled on the eastern edge of Bismarck, Sleepy Hollow Theatre & Arts Park (SHTAP) is a nonprofit outdoor theatre and arts venue, dedicated to educating youth, showcasing local talent, and enriching the cultural life of central North Dakota. What began as a dream on a family road trip in the late 1980s has grown into a beloved summer tradition, offering high-quality, pre-professional experiences in musical theatre, arts education, and community engagement. Since its first production in 1990, SHTAP has welcomed thousands of audience members to its prairie amphitheater, featuring live performances under the stars, educational camps, and a welcoming space for community events. Each season, students and volunteers come together to create something truly special, where hard work, creativity, and collaboration flourish. At Sleepy Hollow, the arts are more than entertainment—they're a way to build skills, friendships, and a stronger community. From musicals to weddings, from scout projects to lifelong memories, SHTAP continues to grow with the same grassroots spirit that first inspired its founding.
